Help Me Grow Home Visitation Qualifications

The best thing about a Help Me Grow home visitation is that IT’S FREE!!!

How do you get in on this deal? You must fall into either category 1, 2, or 3 below:

1) You can be a first time parent – a mom or dad with custody of your child who is less than 6 months old; or an expectant mom or dad with a family income under 200% of the federal poverty level.

OR

2) You have AT LEAST TWO of the following factors:

• Teen parent (under 20 years old).
• Single parent.
• Parent with a history of abuse, neglect, domestic violence.
• Parent with a lack of a stable residence, homelessness, or dangerous living conditions.
• Parent with a chronic or acute mental illness or developmental disability.
• Parent with drug/alcohol dependence.

OR

3) You can have ANY ONE of the following:

• Parent is an active military personnel.
• Your child has been referred by the Cuyahoga County Department of Children and Family Services.
• Your child has extremely “high risk” factors.
