Behavioral Healthcare Eligiblity and Appropriateness

Who is eligible for OFY’s behavioral health services?

To be eligible for our services, the child, adolescent, or adult must:

• Be a resident of Cuyahoga or adjacent counties, AND
• Have Medicaid or Medicaid managed care insurance.

Who is appropriate for OFY’s behavioral health services?

For our services to be appropriate, the child, adolescent, or adult must experience problems with at least one of the following:

• His or her emotions (anxiety or depression).
• His or her thoughts (inattention or confusion).
• His or her behaviors (avoidance, aggression, noncompliance, or impulsiveness).

When are the services available?

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm.

Evening, weekend hours or services provided in the home or community can be arranged on a case-by-case basis, depending on the needs and presenting concerns of the individual and their Individual Service Plan.
