OFY’s Behavioral Health Services are designed to assist individuals with emotional and behavioral disturbances that interfere with their personal, family, social, school, and occupational functioning.
We begin with a Mental Health Assessment. This is a professional, clinical evaluation of an individual’s emotional and behavioral problems in functioning. This determines if further services are indicated. It includes an evaluation of the person’s strengths and possible supports that are available to assist in resolving the problem.
If indicated, Behavioral Health Counseling and Therapy are offered. These are professional interactions and planned, structured treatments that are designed to improve an individual’s functioning as specified in the client’s Individual Service Plan.
How do you begin the process? First, determine if you are eligible and appropriate.
